WOW Friday evening Sailing June - July 2023

Welcome to the 2023 WOW Sailing Series!

Come join Chicago Yacht Club's Women on the water group. This series is focused on sharpening your sailing skills as you socialize with other woman sailors. No skills, no worries boat leaders will be aboard to help. We will be sailing on Chicago Yacht Club's fleet of Sonars. What a great way to spend a summer Friday evening out on picturesque Lake Michigan enjoying the Chicago Skyline followed by dinner and a happy hour upon your return to the club. 

Interested in becoming a Boat Leader?

If you are an experienced female sailor and you would like to come sail with us at no charge, then please get in touch and email Aimee Smith about becoming a boat leader. Boat leaders are responsible for sailing a sonar keelboat with about 3 novice to intermediate sailors, ensuring participants have a safe and fun experience of sailing with CYC. An informational session about the program and boat leader expectations will be held at Belmont Station in early March. Watch for details.
